WHEN AND WHERE?
Photography by Liv studio, located inside the Lakeview Square Mall in Battle Creek, MI. The best way to find us is to use the very back entrance of the mall, as we are located straight in front of it. The bunny will be here and available for visits Friday March 19th, Saturday March 20th, and Sunday March 21st, 2021 from 11:00am to 5:00pm. We will allow the bunny a few short breaks to rest and eat giant carrots.
WHAT WILL THE EVENT BE LIKE?
This event will be open-house style, which means you may find yourself with a few minutes to wait before your turn to meet with the bunny. You'll be greeted at the studio with refreshments, seating and a welcoming environment, so feel free to look around and make yourself comfy! Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, we may be forced to limit the number of people inside the studio, and ask that visitors please wear a mask while waiting for their turn. We will be sanitizing between and around clients, and have hand sanitizer readily available. Please use your best judgement when deciding if you should visit. If you are or have recently been sick, please stay home.
BUT WHAT ABOUT PHOTOS?
We will be all set up to take your child's photo with or without the Easter Bunny. When you arrive, you'll be given an order form to fill out if you would like to order digitals, prints, or other products. You'll be given a few minutes with the bunny to get your photo taken, and say hello! Prints and products will be mailed directly to your home, and digitals will be delivered via email. There is absolutely NO obligation to purchase photos, we'd love to have you either way! A copy of our order form can be found here.
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS AFRAID OF THE BUNNY?
One thing I have learned over the years is that not every child is a fan of the Easter Bunny. While some families enjoy the humor of hanging a large photo of their child screaming in pure terror on the lap of a fuzzy, oversized rabbit, others prefer to save the tears for a different time. Either way, you'll be given the choice to either roll with what you've got, or try for another photo without the giant carrot eater. We will have them slip away for a few snaps if you want!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
What you decide to wear is completely up to you! I always recommend staying away from shirts and onesies with words on them (as it can be difficult to read them in the photos anyway), very small stripes (creates a dizzying effect on digital images, or neon colors (can create funny colored highlights). If your child has an "Easter Sunday" outfit, this is the perfect opportunity to show it off before they ruin it in the muddy Easter egg hunts (yours too or is that just my kids?).
